​​About the Evening

Join us for Rooted & Rising: Sustaining the Legacy—an unforgettable fall evening filled with connection, inspiration, and purpose. This adults-only fundraiser will bring together Legacy parents, alumni, grandparents, donors, and friends to support the Legacy Christian School Foundation in its mission to strengthen the financial future of our school.

Before the main event, each guest will be assigned to a Legacy family’s home to start the evening with appetizers and drinks — a warm and personal way to connect with others. A school bus will pick up your group from the host home, take you to Niewiek’s Barn for the full program, and return you there at the end of the night.

With the theme drawn from 1 Corinthians 3:11, we gather as a community “rooted in faith” to ensure our students continue to rise with purpose for generations to come. The evening will feature delicious food, inspiring stories, and a vision for what lies ahead for Legacy Christian School. Together, we’ll take a significant step toward replenishing the Foundation so it can keep providing vital long-term support for our mission.

About the LCS Foundation

The Legacy Christian School Foundation exists to ensure the long-term stability and strength of Legacy Christian School. It serves as a financial safeguard, helping keep tuition affordable, supporting our teachers, and providing consistent resources for our Christ-centered mission.

In the summer of 2024, we faced an important opportunity: to completely pay off our Pension Responsibility, a significant and expensive yearly budget item. By drawing funds from the Foundation, we were able to buy out this obligation in full, eliminating the burden without incurring any interest. This was a huge win for our school’s financial health and freed future budgets from a major ongoing expense.

Now, we are focused on rebuilding the Foundation to its original strength, restoring the funds that were used for the pension buyout so the Foundation can continue to serve its purpose for decades to come. This year’s goal of $100,000 will help replenish those reserves and ensure that Legacy Christian School remains financially strong for the next generation.
