Some things are best experienced in person. Join us for a personalized school tour, where we’ll introduce your family to the dedicated staff and joyful students who make the Legacy community so special.
Your student may also come visit for a Shadow Day, a wonderful opportunity to experience life at Legacy Christian School firsthand! They’ll be paired with a Legacy student, attend classes, meet teachers, and see what it’s like to learn in our Christ-centered community. It’s a great way to discover what makes Legacy such a special place to grow academically and spiritually.
Parents and/or guardians are required to complete, sign, and submit the Application for Admission.
There is a $100 application fee, which is non-refundable but will be applied as a credit toward your tuition for the school year.
Legacy Christian School will request from student’s current school copies of the following:
Final report cards, 3 years — including most recent report
Standardized test results, 3 years (NWEA-MAP or similar)
IEP, 504 Plan, accommodations/support services list (if applicable)
Discipline records, 3 years (if applicable)
Attendance records, 3 years
Immunization record or waiver
In order to know our students well, students entering Kindergarten or students without standardized academic records will be asked to complete a brief academic assessment with Legacy staff. The Director of Admissions will work with you to schedule this assessment.
Our family interview is the last step in the admissions process! After your application paperwork and testing are complete, our Director of Admissions will reach out to schedule the interview. New students and at least one parent or guardian meet with the Head of School and Director of Admissions for 30 minutes. Use this time to ask us any lingering questions, or we’ll simply get to know each other. We can’t wait to meet your family!
At Legacy Christian School, we are dedicated to ensuring that a Christian education is within reach for families of all economic backgrounds. To facilitate this commitment, we provide Variable Tuition, offering a range of tuition rates. While we expect every family to contribute to tuition costs, Variable Tuition allows families to apply for a reduced rate based on their individual financial circumstances.
To apply for Variable Tuition, parents must submit an online application to FACTS Grant & Aid. There is a $40 fee to apply.
Please note that although we strive to ensure Legacy Christian School is accessible to a wide range of students and families, the funds allocated to support Variable Tuition are limited. Allocation is based on financial need and operates on a first-come, first-served basis.
Once the admissions process is complete and the applicant has been accepted, you will complete the Continuous Enrollment Contract. The Director of Admissions will send you an email confirming the Application for Admission has been accepted and will include the link to the online contract. A one-time $100 per student enrollment deposit is required for families new to Legacy Christian School. This deposit will be applied to your tuition.
What is Continuous Enrollment, and why is LCS moving to this?
Continuous Enrollment is a streamlined process that automatically re-enrolls students each year unless families notify the school otherwise. This allows Legacy Christian School to plan effectively for staffing, curriculum, programs, and facility use while ensuring wise stewardship of tuition dollars. And, creates less work for you!Â
Do I need to re-enroll my child each year?
No! With Continuous Enrollment, once you sign your contract, your child will remain enrolled until graduation unless you choose to opt out by notifying the school before the deadline.
Will I be notified of deadlines?
Yes. Families will receive reminders from the Admissions Office during the typical re-enrollment period (March and April). These communications are primarily for families considering a change. If your child is continuing at Legacy, you don’t need to take any action.
How do we notify the school if we are not planning to return the following year?
If your child will not be returning in the fall, you must notify our Admissions Office in writing (admissions@legacycs.org) by the April 17 deadline.
Do I need to sign a contract for my new student?
Yes. Families with multiple children will have a separate contract for each student. If you enroll a new student in future years, you will need to sign a Continuous Enrollment Contract for that student only.
Do both parents need to sign the enrollment contract in cases of separation or divorce?
Yes, all parents or legal guardians must sign an identical enrollment contract. In cases where one parent has sole custody and full decision-making authority regarding education and finances, only that parent’s signature is required, provided proper legal documentation is submitted.Â
What happens if I need to withdraw my child?
Families who withdraw their student(s) after the opt-out deadline (April 17) will be required to pay one month’s tuition. While some schools require a full semester or year’s tuition, Legacy’s policy ensures fairness while allowing for necessary planning.
Are there exceptions to the withdrawal penalty?
Yes. The one-month tuition penalty will be waived in cases such as:
Moving/relocating 25+ miles away from Legacy Christian School.
Legacy no longer being able to meet a student’s educational needs as determined by our Student Support Services team.
Disenrollment at the request of Legacy Christian School.
Other exceptional circumstances approved by our Board.
What is the process for updating my information after I am continuously enrolled?
Parents can update their information in FACTS at any time throughout the year. Additionally, they may contact the school office for any updates that require administrative assistance.
Each spring, families will be asked to review and verify their information online, including details that require annual submission, such as busing requests, medical information and emergency contacts. Parents will receive an email in May with a link to complete this verification process.
By opting into Continuous Enrollment, families enjoy a hassle-free process while ensuring their child’s uninterrupted education at Legacy Christian School.
