A Beautiful Picture of God’s World at Legacy

Walk through the halls of Legacy on any given day and you will see something special. Our school is a reflection of God’s world and the many stories He is writing through our students and families.

This year, Legacy is blessed to be a community of students and teachers connected to 16 different countries:

Canada, China, Curaçao, Dominican Republic, Ethiopia, France, Guatemala, Haiti, Kenya, Mexico, Myanmar, Nicaragua, Nigeria, South Korea, United States, Venezuela, and Vietnam.

This variety of backgrounds strengthens our community. Students learn alongside peers and are guided by teachers who bring different experiences and perspectives, helping them grow in understanding, empathy, and respect. These daily interactions encourage meaningful relationships and help students see the value in every person.

Legacy’s mission is to prepare Christ followers and Kingdom builders, and this is lived out in the everyday moments of school life. As students learn, worship, and grow together, they are being shaped to love others well, serve faithfully, and reflect Christ in all they do. The diversity within our community offers a meaningful picture of God’s Kingdom, where people from many places are united through faith and love.

Scripture reminds us, “Love your neighbor as yourself” (Mark 12:31). At Legacy, students have daily opportunities to practice this command, learning how to show kindness, grace, and respect to those around them.

Our community is stronger because of the families and staff who bring their experiences, traditions, and stories to Legacy. Together, we are raising students who are rooted in faith, growing in character, and being prepared to make an impact for Christ in the world.
