Technology at Legacy Christian School

Legacy Christian School has a technology sub-committee that works as a part of the Education Committee of the Board.  This committee meets regularly to plan for the ongoing technology needs of the school.   The membership of this committee is made up of a combination of parents, teachers, and administrators.

Jill Ellens, Elementary school principal

Tim Leugs, Intermediate School teacher

Early in 2008 the committee developed a technology upgrade plan to address the aging computers and infrastructure at Legacy.  This plan was presented to, and approved by, the school board in June of 2008.  With a portion of the proceeds of the sale of the Kelloggsville building - and generous in-kind donations - the first phases of this plan proceeded immediately.  A new server and new computer lab were purchased and installed by the beginning of the new school year.  Other components of this plan continue to be worked on as funds become available.  To see the entire technology plan, or to see the detailed progress on the plan, click on the links below.
