The Accelerated Reader program allows teachers to guide a student to read books that will challenge him or her without being frustrated.  The teacher can receive valuable information on students' reading and vocabulary development.

Hint: You can specify your child's reading level when searching so that only appropriate reading level books will be listed.  Otherwise, just enter the title of the book (or part of the title) to see if the book is on Accelerated Reader.
